Dr. Jessica Irons, associate professor of psychology at James Madison University, will give two visiting faculty lectures at S&T. The first lecture, about teaching validity and its importance in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 3, in the Ozark Room of the Havener Center.
The second lecture, about behavioral interventions for risky health-related behaviors, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, in the Ozark Room of the Havener Center. Refreshments will be served at both events. The lectures are presented by the office of sponsored programs and hosted by the departments of economics and psychological science.
