Campus ministry trivia night

“Geeks for God” Campus Ministry will host its annual fundraiser trivia night at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at the Family Center located at 803 N. Main St. in Rolla. The night’s theme is “Time Warp.” All proceeds directly benefits students by paying for the Campus Ministry’s annual alternative spring break mission trip. Gale Bullman bleacher maintenance

Chancellor and family moving off-campus while university addresses issues at residence

While the university continues to inspect and address issues at the Chancellor’s Residence on the Missouri University of Science and Technology campus, Chancellor Cheryl B. Schrader and her family are moving a second time this semester. In August, the chancellor and her family moved into Missouri S&T’s Residential College. This week, the Schraders will move off-campus to a residence that is better suited for both a family and an extended stay, located in the Quarry Subdivision east of Rolla.

Free student tickets available for “Good Kids”

Missouri S&T students with a valid student I.D. can receive free tickets for the Miner League Theatre Players performance of “Good Kids.” Free student tickets must be reserved in advance at the box office by calling 341-4219. Students will be asked to show their I.D. when they pick up the tickets.

“Good Kids,” a play about sexual assault, will be performed in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, through Saturday, Oct. 31, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1.

Students in several courses will receive extra credit for attending the play. Faculty members are asked to remind their students of this policy and that free tickets are still available.
