Dr. Lawrence O. Christensen, Distinguished Teaching Professor emeritus of history and co-author of a history of the campus, died Saturday, April 16, 2016. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at Christ Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Main St.

Abstract submissions are due by Monday, May 9, for the Complex Adaptive Systems Conference, which will be held Nov. 2-4 in Los Angeles. Researchers are invited to share research findings and help expand the field of engineering cyber physical systems. Instructors are invited to the workshop “Building Blocks: Structuring Your Course for Success” 9 a.m-2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center. This will be a hands-on workshop facilitated by instructional design staff to help create a blueprint for a course.
