Memorial services are planned for Marquia Lewis and Valencia McKinney, who died in a traffic collision on Friday, Sept. 16.

A memorial service, beginning with an Omega Omega ceremony, will be held for Lewis at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Memorial Tabernacle Christian Life Center, located at 1350 S. Lafayette St. in Florissant, Missouri. A repast will follow the memorial service.

A memorial service will be held for McKinney at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at the Sunshine Cultural Arts Center, located at 630 N. 59th St. in East St. Louis, Illinois. An Omega Omega Ceremony will begin prior to the service. McKinney’s family requests assistance for food for the repast. Donations may be shared via PayPal to mstsigmadeltadst@mst.edu.

Members of Missouri S&T’s counseling staff are available to provide counseling services for students, faculty and staff affected by the death.
