Read More »With the forecasted high temperatures this week, Rolla Municipal Utilities officials have asked the campus to try to reduce electrical outage usage during the peak hours of 3-6 p.m. today (Thursday, July 20) and tomorrow (Friday, July 21). Officials don’t want any reduction to be disruptive to the normal course of business, but appreciate efforts to eliminate unneeded use. For example, individuals are encouraged to turn off unnecessary lights in their workplaces. The facilities operations staff will monitor the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems during this time and adjust accordingly.
