Read More »Fiscal services offices moving back to Parker Hall
The fiscal services offices, temporarily located in the Curtis Laws Wilson Library, will return to Parker Hall on Monday, Oct. 30. These offices include cashiers, budget, accounting, student loan collections and fiscal management offices. The offices will be closed on Oct. 30 as the staff make the transition back to Parker Hall. All offices will re-open Tuesday, Oct. 31, and observe their regular business hours.

The 2018 St. Pat’s theme and sweatshirt design for the 110th annual Best Ever celebration will be revealed as a part of the university’s Homecoming events. The “Sunny Wall Reveal” will take place at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, the wall between the University Book & Supply store and Missouri S&T’s Campus Housing and Dining Services Building, located near the corner of 12th and Pine streets. Read More »Reception planned for Zuni art display in Writing Center
The Writing Center and the Campus Arts Committee will host a reception to introduce an exhibit of paintings by Byron Calavaza, an artist of the Zuni Pueblo in western New Mexico. Calavaza’s acrylics give expression to traditional elements of Zuni spirituality. Attend the opening exhibit 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, in the Writing Center, located in Room 113 Campus Support Facility.

The Missouri S&T Band’s fraternity and sorority organizations, Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma, will hold a baked goods sale 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at the University Commons, near Harris Hall. Proceeds from the sale will support the chapters to better the S&T bands.

Read More »Update on diversity programs, Title IX
As part of the organizational changes that began July 1, the student diversity, outreach and women’s programs (SDOWP) now reports to S&T’s chief diversity officer instead of enrollment management. To better reflect the department’s mission, it has been renamed Student Diversity Initiatives. The home for this department will be S&T’s Diversity House, located at 605 W. 11th Street. The brick house was formerly named Student Diversity, Outreach and Women’s Programs.
