To assist faculty and staff with publishing efforts, the University Libraries Subvention Program was created to help cover costs associated with article processing or book publishing. The second of four cycles is open, and applications will be accepted through Friday, April 11.

Alumna reflects on her career in 2025 Stueck Lecture
During this year’s Stueck Lecture, Mariana Rodriguez will share and reflect upon the five turning points in her career as an engineer and pioneer in higher education 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday, April 11, in the Innovation Lab Forum and via Zoom. Her talk is titled “From UMR engineer to starting a university: Five turning points that defined my leadership.”

Missouri S&T’s Intelligent Systems Center (ISC) will host the 19th annual Graduate Research Symposium 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, April 14, in the Innovation Lab Forum. Dr. Kamal Khayat, vice chancellor for research and innovation, will be the distinguished guest speaker and Dr. Simone Silvestri, associate professor and director of graduate studies at the University of Kentucky, will deliver a keynote presentation, titled “Climbing the Doctoral Mountain: Essential Strategies for a Successful Ph.D.”
