Windows 11 transition progress

As of Wednesday, June 2, 93% of Windows computers on campus are running Windows 11.
In 2023, the S&T information technology team began work on a transition to the Windows 11 operating system and started communicating with employees, so campus computers comply with UM System information security policies and guidelines. This fall Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10.
IT has a goal to transition computers running Windows 10 off the main network by the end of September 2025.
Who is affected?
All users with campus managed computers running Windows.
