Student diversity initiatives encourages you to celebrate Juneteenth on Friday, June 19. Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19 that Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas, with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. Printing and mail services would like to inform the campus community that international mail requiring a customs form has changed. Effective March 13, 2020, the United States Postal Service (USPS) will not accept customs forms filled out by hand.

Staff Spotlight: Michelle Wiginton-Pipes
Michelle Wiginton-Pipes is a fifth-generation Rolla resident. “I have many, many engineers in my family tree,” she says. “When we were young, we heard stories of ‘when I was in college’ from family, so I was raised thinking that going to college and working at S&T is just what you did,” she says.
