Staff Day is coming Thursday, May 30
Celebrate Missouri S&T’s Staff Appreciation Day on Thursday, May 30. An opening ceremony will kick off the day’s activities at 9 a.m. in the St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. Goody bags will be available to the first 250 staff members who stop by the table in the Havener Center atrium. Staff will be served a free lunch 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Havener Center’s dining area.

Due to the planned power outage, the S&T IT Help Desk, located in the Curtis Laws Wilson Library, will be closed for walk-in service Thursday, May 16. The Help Desk can be reached through the online chat option and by phone, calls and emails.

The employee eConnection will move to its summer schedule starting Wednesday, May 15, and will be published weekly on Wednesdays until fall classes begin. The deadline for submissions is noon Tuesday.

Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system improvements are scheduled for construction in Toomey Hall over the next nine weeks, beginning Monday, May 13, extending through Friday, July 12. This work will impact the air conditioning throughout the building.
