Are you a mid-career or senior faculty member looking to enhance your sponsored research skills? A workshop on sponsored research will be held 1:30-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in The Collaboratory, located in Room G-1 of the Humanities and Social Sciences Building. This event is co-sponsored by the vice chancellor for research and innovation and the assistant provost for faculty affairs.

Staff from the sponsored programs will provide an overview of the S&T process for sponsored research. Participants will learn how to identify research opportunities, navigate pre-award and post-award processes, and prepare final reports to close grants. Attendees can also meet potential collaborators, even those who have successfully written grants in the past.

Due to the collaborative nature of this event, it will not be available on Zoom. For questions, contact Kate Sheppard, professor of history and political science and faculty fellow for research and innovation, or Kate Drowne, assistant provost for faculty affairs.
