Donate supplies for hurricane survivors by Oct. 23

Students in civil, architectural and environmental engineering are running a supply drive to assist hurricane survivors in North Carolina, with donations being accepted through Oct. 23. Essential items such as new or gently used winter clothes, boots, heaters, socks, gloves, blankets and non-perishable food are among the most requested.

Texas A&M chemistry chair to present ninth Stoffer lecture

Doherty-Welch Chair in chemistry at Texas A&M University, will deliver the ninth annual Stoffer Lecture at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in the Monsanto Lecture Hall, Room G3 Schrenk Hall. This professorship offers five years of discretionary funds totaling $50,000, which includes an annual salary stipend of $7,500 plus benefits.
