The article, titled “The Nitrogen-Vacancy-Nitrogen Color Center: A Ubiquitous Visible and Near-Infrared-II Quantum Emitter in Nitrogen-Doped Diamond,” reports widespread presence of the nitrogen-vacancy-nitrogen (NVN) color center in both bulk diamond and nanodiamonds.
