What is your role at S&T?
I am a senior finance and accounting specialist, and I have been at S&T 2.5 years.

What inspired you to join Staff Council?
When I first came to campus, I worked directly with several ladies who were on Staff Council, and any time I had extra time, I would help with various activities. I liked that Staff Council focuses on creating a better experience for staff across campus and wanted to be a part of it.

What is your role on Staff Council, and what responsibilities does it involve?
I am the secretary of Staff Council. I am responsible for taking notes during meetings and distributing the minutes afterward.

What advice would you give someone just starting at S&T?
Be patient with yourself and don’t get overwhelmed by all the new information. We are in a continuous learning environment.

What’s one thing you absolutely must have at your desk and why?
Water! It’s important to stay hydrated.

What’s something about you that most people don’t know — whether it’s unique, unexpected or just a little quirky?
My sister and I get mistaken for each other all the time because we look so much alike.
