High school students who attend the Art of Science Summer Camp get to explore creative ways to photograph, write and create multimedia art through natural discovery at S&T’s Field Station campus. Artwork created by the attendees will be on display in the atrium of the Havener Center at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday, June 30.

Kummer College and CASE changes take effect July 1

Effective Friday, July 1, Missouri S&T’s College of Arts, Sciences, and Business (CASB) will change to the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE), and the Kummer College of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development will be established. Two academic departments formerly in CASB – business and information technology and economics – will move to the Kummer College.

eFellows grant proposals due July 11

The Provost’s eFellow Program, facilitated through the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE), was established to help instructors redesign their courses for online or blended delivery using course design best practices. The goal is improved student learning as well as maximizing the use of educational technologies. Award amounts of up to $5,000 are available.

Missouri Online is offering training for instructors to learn how to use this new feature in Canvas. The training will include how to get started using ePortfolio, the capabilities of the platform, student access, and using ePortfolios as assignments in a course.
