Update on second-dose vaccine clinic in Rolla

Due to a delay in receiving vaccine, the second-dose COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Rolla that was scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25, and Friday, Feb. 26, has been condensed into a one-day event 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, in the Phelps Health parking lot on 10th Street across from the hospital’s emergency department.

Career fair sets record

Missouri S&T’s second virtual career fair drew more than 3,300 student attendees – beating out the university’s record of student attendance by nearly 1,000. Representatives from 198 companies met with students and alumni in more than 8,500 appointments.

S&T to gather feedback on former Bureau of Mines buildings

Missouri S&T is gathering public comments and will hold an open forum at 4 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 18) via Zoom on university plans to demolish three buildings known as the Bureau of Mines (BOM) buildings 1, 2 and 3 on the Rolla campus. The public comment period began on Jan. 25 and will close on Wednesday, Feb. 24.

Missouri S&T’s Staff Council offers a scholarship program to assist staff members who are furthering their education. Full-time S&T employees enrolled in at least one class at Missouri S&T or another University of Missouri System campus can apply for a $250 scholarship.
