Parking Lot N temporarily closes

Due to work on the parking lot, Area N near University Commons and Residential Commons will be closed from Monday, Oct. 3, to Friday, Oct. 7. While the lot is closed, students will park in Area H, Lot 37, near University Drive, and Area S, Lot 9, near Residential Commons 2, causing these lots to possibly fill.

Air conditioning outage planned at Harris Hall

An air conditioning system outage is scheduled beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, in order to make repairs to the air conditioning systems in Harris Hall. Workshops needed for girls’ conference

Engaging, hands-on workshop activities are sought for the “Expanding Your Horizons in Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Technology” conference for seventh- and eighth-grade girls on Friday, Oct. 21, at Missouri S&T. The goal is to encourage participants to consider careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Each workshop will be about an hour. Presenters can include faculty members, students or student organizations and staff members.

The event brings more than 450 students to campus, helping seventh- and eighth-grade girls learn about careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
