In a Wizarding World competition among their fellow peers, new students can reconnect with their Opening Week mentor groups while learning about overcoming academic and personal challenges at S&T. These activities will not only help students bond with their peers but will aid them in learning skills that will benefit their future pursuits. University of Missouri System President Mun Choi and search committee co-chairs Dr. Francisca Oboh-Ikuenobe and Tom Voss led an open forum Sept. 17 in Leach Theatre for the campus community to discuss desired characteristics in S&T’s next chancellor. Release the lanterns
Release a floating lantern into Ber Juan Park Lake to celebrate the International Day of Peace at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21. The lantern release will be followed by student speakers and presentations. Lanterns will be available for decoration until 2 p.m. today (Thursday, Sept. 20) in the Havener Center Atrium.
