Two policies were recently updated and are posted online. They are:
- Policy memorandum III-27: Distribution of Sponsored Research Indirect Recovery
- Policy memorandum III-30: Facilities and Administrative (F&A) Costs Recovery.
Call for Faculty Fellow
The office of the vice chancellor of research and dean of graduate studies is currently accepting applications for a faculty fellow. The faculty fellow appointment will be 50 percent full-time equivalent (FTE), and the fellow will spend the remaining 50 percent in his or her continued departmental duties. To apply:

Help Miner Challenge raise dough
Support the Miner Challenge Alternative Break Program by buying cookie dough. Orders will be taken 11 a.m.-2 p.m. each day through Wednesday, Oct. 24, in the Havener Center Atrium. The two-pound containers cost $10 each for chocolate chip and peanut butter flavors and $8 each for sugar cookie dough.

Read More »New Help Desk ticket system debuts today
Missouri S&T and the University of Missouri System are implementing a new IT service management tool today (Monday, Oct. 15). The new tool, Cherwell, will replace Remedy and will continue to provide self-service access. If you currently have data stored in the Remedy system, please take the time now to export or copy any data that you may need to another location by Friday, Oct. 19. Google Drive and Google Docs are available options.

The Missouri S&T community is invited to review a policy development proposal on camera monitoring. S&T’s Policy Council reviewed Policy III-10 (Use of Cameras to Monitor Facilities and/or Activities) and the suggested development is posted with a link for feedback at policy.mst.edu in the policies-in-development section.

Child or spouse graduating in December?
If you are a staff member or faculty member and your spouse or child will be walking in an S&T commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 15, please contact Krista Chambers at 341-4898 or krista@mst.edu by Thursday, Nov. 8. Staff and faculty members will have the opportunity to meet their child or spouse at the end of the platform and have a professional photo taken with their graduate.
