S&T receives grant, launches “Why I Got Vaccinated” project

Missouri S&T’s student well-being team has received a grant from the American College Health Association (CoVAC) to help address COVID-19 vaccine confidence and health information at S&T this semester. Missouri S&T was one of 41 colleges and universities within 25 states that were selected for this grant.

Help support new Child Development Center through scholarship fund, donations

Missouri S&T’s Child Development Center will open in January 2022. The center staff is establishing an ongoing scholarship for S&T students and qualifying families to offset child care costs, as well as a growing list of items to enhance early education through STEM on Amazon.

Missouri S&T is partnering with JCPenney to help provide professional attire to S&T students at a discounted price. Students can save up to 60% on select dress apparel, shoes and accessories during the Suit-Up event 6-9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, at the JCPenney Store in Rolla. S&T student IDs are required for the discount. Missouri S&T’s Fall Career Fair will be held in-person Tuesday, Sept. 29, and Wednesday, Sept. 29, at the Gale Bullman Building, and online Thursday, Sept. 30, using Career Fair Plus.
