Misty Kay Campbell, the event’s keynote speaker, will discuss creating meaningful community-student learning opportunities. Campbell is an assistant teaching professor and community engagement director at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. A community leader, she is dedicated to long-term relationship building and helping people translate their passions into tangible community benefits that are rooted in empirically driven practices.
Dr. Anne-Marie Foley, director of service learning at the University of Missouri-Columbia, will speak about campuswide community-engaged learning and how it can happen on our campus.
