This year’s Opening Week freshmen design project, Project X, will be sponsored by Union Pacific. The company will have representatives on the S&T campus during Opening Week to judge projects and help new students with various programs. Opening Week begins on Saturday, Aug. 11, and runs through Friday, Aug. 17.

Transfer Transitions (orientation day for transfer students) will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, in Room 120 Bulter-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall.
