Join your university colleagues and members of the university advancement staff to celebrate another academic year and thank members of the S&T family for their generous financial support. The Proud Miner Ice Cream Social will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, in the Brewer Family Atrium in Toomey Hall. Enjoy an ice cream sundae bar complete with sugar cones, candy toppings, hot fudge and more.

This event, previously known as the Proud Miner Picnic, recognizes current and retired employees who have given $5 or more to the university since June 30, 2011. There’s still time to make a donation — send your donation to Room 107 Castleman Hall by Monday, Aug. 13, and note if you would like your gift designated to a specific purpose. You may also donate $5 or more the day of the event.
