Read More »The Student Veteran Resource Center will host a veteran faculty and staff reception at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at its location on the ground floor of the Baptist Student Union, across the street from Bertelsmeyer Hall. All are welcome to attend. The center will provide refreshments and help spread the word about various programs and offerings to support student veteran success. Veteran faculty and staff are often the most consistent contact a student veteran has with the university, so the center wants as many people as possible to know what is offered to better inform students if they need assistance. Wear jeans with a purpose, support survivors and educate yourself and others about sexual assault. The department will screen a short movie titled “The Illusionists,” which highlights how media utilizes messages to build insecurity in our views of body image.
