Test anxiety workshop
Do you know students struggling with test anxiety? Let them know that counseling, disability support and student wellness will present a three-session workshop to help manage anxiety and perform better academically. The series will be held 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, April 16, and April 23. For the location and to reserve a space, students are asked to contact counsel@mst.edu or call 341-4211. Dr. D. Vincent Roach, associate professor emeritus of chemistry at Missouri S&T, died on Sunday, March 23. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Friday, April 4, at the Wellington Place Clubhouse, 1903 East 10th St., Rolla, following a private graveside memorial. Memorials are suggested to the Backpack Program c/o Hope Alliance of Missouri.

There will be a chilled water outage lasting from Monday, March 31, through Tuesday, April 1, in McNutt Hall. The outage will allow contractors to flush new piping in the geothermal construction loop. Chilled water will be restored by 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 2. The Miner Alumni Association’s Student Leadership Award Endowed Scholarship is a $1,500 ($750 for two semesters) scholarship. It is awarded to a student who demonstrates academic excellence, service to the campus and community, personal objectives and goals and quality recommendations.
