Death of Dr. D. Vincent Roach

The communications department has received word that Dr. D. Vincent Roach, associate professor emeritus of chemistry at Missouri S&T, died on Sunday, March 23. Funeral arrangements are pending.
A former chair of the chemistry department, Dr. Roach joined the S&T faculty in 1965. Prior to that he worked as a research chemist at the U.S. Naval Weapons Laboratory in Dahlgren, Va. He earned bachelor of science and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1954 and 1962, respectively.
