Mathematical Logic I to be offered in February

Mathematical Logic I, credited as either Math 5154, Computer Engineering 5803, Computer Science 5203, or Philosophy 4354, will be offered starting Wednesday, Feb. 1, and ending Wednesday, March 1. Alumnus to speak about nanoacoustofluidics on Oct. 17

Mechanical and aerospace engineering will welcome to campus Dr. James R. Friend, a mechanical and aerospace engineering graduate and member of Missouri S&T’s Academy of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers. Friend will present “Nanoacoustofluidics” 3:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, in Room 199 Toomey Hall. The presentation is part of the department’s Centennial Seminar Series, celebrating 100 years of mechanical and aerospace engineering at Missouri S&T.

Flags at half-staff effective immediately

By order of U.S. President Barack Obama, flags at all public buildings and grounds will be flown at half-staff in honor of Shimon Peres, former president and prime minister of Israel, who died Wednesday, Sept. 28. The order shall remain in effect until sunset Friday, Sept. 30.

Mentoring Monday room change for Sept. 26
