In February, Dr. Martin Bohner, Curators’ Distinguished Professor of mathematics and statistics, gave a few talks while on sabbatical. He delivered a keynote speech, titled “Generalized Periodicity,” at the Fourth International Conference on Mathematics and Statistics at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. He also gave an invited talk at the Institute of Mathematical and Computer Sciences Summer Meeting on Differential Equations in Sao Carlos, Brazil, and a colloquium talk at the Universidade de Brasilia, in Brazil.
