ACUE online teaching accreditation goes to 53 instructors

More than 50 Missouri S&T instructors earned a nationally recognized teaching credential as well as online teaching certification through the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE). They were recognized by S&T and ACUE administrators at a pinning ceremony on June 9.

The newly credentialed instructors are:

  • Dr. Andrew Behrendt, assistant teaching professor of history and political science
  • Dr. Rui Bo, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering
  • Dr. Cynthia Bolon, associate teaching professor of chemistry
  • Dr. Devin Burns, assistant professor of psychological science
  • Dr. Cecil Chua, associate professor of business and information technology
  • Dr. Jessica Cundiff, assistant professor of psychological science
  • Dr. Carleigh Davis, assistant professor of English and technical communication
  • Dr. Petra DeWitt, associate professor of history and political science
  • Dr. Kathryn Dolan, associate professor of English and technical communication
  • Dr. Rohit Dua, associate teaching professor of electrical and computer engineering
  • Dr. Cassie Elrod, associate professor of business and information technology
  • Dr. Li-Li Eng, associate professor of business and information technology
  • Dr. Mahelet Fikru, associate professor of economics
  • Lorie Francis, associate teaching professor of arts, languages, and philosophy

The program was facilitated by the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence and was part of a systemwide initiative and national grant through the National Association of System Heads.
