Faculty to share about interdisciplinary creativity, entrepreneurship

How can we break down barriers to learning that students may set up for themselves? How can we shift student focus from memorization and facts, toward creativity and creating value? The Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI) will host a faculty event with hands-on activities and resources 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, in St. Pat’s A of the Havener Center. All instructors are invited. Please register online.
Participants will learn about the entrepreneurial-minded learning and active learning strategies promoted by KEEN. KEEN is a network of university partners working to transform U.S. engineering education. S&T faculty from both colleges will share how involvement with KEEN has affected their classroom interactions and atmosphere.
