Tegrity Lecture Capture, which allows instructors to record lecture notes, is now available in all Blackboard courses effective today, Wednesday, Aug. 1. Prior to this, Tegrity was deployed only to select courses based on instructor needs. Educational technology is offering several opportunities to learn more about Tegrity Lecture Capture in August, before classes begin. Sign up here.
Each training session will cover when to use Tegrity, how to get started, Tegrity’s numerous features, and how to access recordings for later review. For more information, email EdTech.
While Tegrity allows instructors to record their lecture notes, students can also monitor and participate in the recording live or review the recording later. Both instructors and students can add their own annotations to the recordings (even after the recording process is completed).
Details about how this will impact instructors and students can be found on Educational Technology’s blog, EdTech Connect.
