Discover how to instantly grade paper-based tests and get immediate feedback on student exams at “Using TurningKey for Testing,” a Faculty Technology Learning Community event to be held at noon Friday, Sept. 9, in Room 104 Centennial Hall. Dessert and beverages will be provided and participants are welcome to bring their own lunch. RSVP to hagnid@mst.edu.
The presenter is Dan Reardon, assistant professor of English and director of composition, who piloted TurningKey with Hit the Ground Running students this past summer. TurningKey is a software application that allows instructors to create and deliver new or existing assessments that are self-paced with clicker response systems. Reports with individual student results are quickly available, and can help in aligning learning objectives with evaluation and assessment procedures, says Reardon.
This event is co-sponsored by Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI) and Educational Technology.
