Recommendations for travel – and after you return

The latest travel recommendations for S&T employees and students are posted on S&T’s coronavirus website. Get a flyer with these guidelines.

Due to the uncertain nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, these recommendations are subject to change at any time.

For seven days after traveling in the U.S. without social distancing or by mass transit:

  • Do not attend any groups or in-person meetings other than classes.
  • Consider remote work during this time if you cannot maintain social distancing in your work area.
  • Check your temperature three times daily. Use the daily screening app, Campus Screen by Edverum.
  • Wear a mask at all times on campus, in public settings and events, and whenever you’re around others.

Travel guidelines updated

Missouri S&T’s travel guidelines have recently been updated. Decisions involving all university-related travel, whether local, national/domestic, or international, must be made after careful considerations of the implications of that travel on protecting the S&T community from the spread of COVID-19, and of the financial impact of that travel on the university.

Study abroad programs canceled for fall 2020

After evaluating the recommendations and advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Department of State, and guidance from the UM System, Missouri S&T has decided to cancel all fall 2020 study abroad programs.
