S&T joins JED to support mental health, committee leads efforts

Missouri S&T has joined JED Campus in support of student well-being and mental health. The program is a nationwide initiative of The JED Foundation (JED) designed to help schools evaluate and strengthen their mental health, substance misuse and suicide prevention programs to safeguard individual and community health. The office of student disability services will move from its current location in Room 203 Norwood Hall to Room G-10 Norwood Hall on Monday, Sept. 17. This move follows the recent restructuring of testing and student disability services into a comprehensive department designed to provide enhanced services for students, faculty and staff.

‘Light it up blue’ on April 2

Promote autism awareness and autism acceptance by wearing the color blue Monday, April 2. The Havener Center will “Light It Up Blue” with blue exterior lighting as part of the observance throughout the month. On April 3, blue and white balloons will be displayed on campus to demonstrate support.
