Read More »Employees collectively donated $2,000 to S&T’s employee scholarship program through the food auction during Staff Day on May 30. The proceeds include a $1,000 matching donation from Chris Maples, interim chancellor, and Sara Marcus. Scholarship applications are currently being accepted for the fall 2018 semester. Like the students he serves and protects, Lt. Oscar Kemp will be hitting the books this semester. Beth Abner, president of Staff Council, presented the council’s inaugural employee scholarship to Kemp, an officer with University Police, during a Staff Council meeting on July 13. The $250 scholarship will go towards Kemp’s tuition this fall as he pursues a bachelor’s degree.
