Missouri S&T’s Staff Appreciation Day at the end of the spring semester will be here before we know it. Do you have an idea for a theme that you would like to share? Previous themes have included sports, “welcome to the jungle,” the wild west and Willy Wonka. Costumes spice up staff appreciation event

The drizzly weather didn’t put a damper on yesterday’s Fall Staff Appreciation Day at the Puck. Staff members came out and painted pumpkins, toasted marshmallows at a s’mores station and danced. Drop by the Fall Staff Appreciation Day 8:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the Puck and enter to win a door prize. All attendees are eligible to enter the prize drawing and do not need to be present to win. To get an extra ticket for the prize drawing, bring an item to donate to the Greater Rolla Area Charitable Enterprise (GRACE) or the Rolla Mission. Click here for a list of items. The schedule includes:

  • 8 a.m.: Drop off your decorated pumpkin for the pumpkin decorating contest.
  • 8:30 a.m.-noon: Games, music, pumpkin painting and refreshments (s’mores, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, candy and popcorn)
  • 9-11 a.m.: Monster massage (chair massages)
