Dr. Irina V. Ivliyeva, professor of arts languages and philosophy, will present the next Research on Tap lecture at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the loft of Public House Brewing Co. in Rolla. Her talk is titled “The Formula for Happiness in Russian Fairy Tales.”

50 years already? Celebrate with Cohen and Long on Sept. 12

On Sept. 1, 1968, Dr. Gerald Cohen, professor of Russian and German, and Dr. Gary Long, professor of chemistry, began teaching at Missouri S&T. The College of Arts, Sciences, and Business will host a reception to honor them for 50 years of service 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, in the second floor gallery of Curtis Laws Wilson Library. A brief program will begin at 3:30 p.m.
