The USDOT National Center for Transportation Infrastructure Durability & Life-Extension (TriDurLE) organized a student poster competition at the 2021 TriDurLE Symposium on December 6, 2021. S&T student Beshoy Riad’s poster presentation entitled “Implementing the Lightweight Deflectometer for MoDOT Construction Acceptance of Unbound Material Layers” received the best poster award at this competition. Beshoy is a PhD candidate in CArEE department and his advisor is Dr. Xiong Zhang.

Missouri S&T 150th Anniversary Poster Contest winners announced
Dawson Caldwell of Rolla is the winner of Missouri S&T’s 150th Anniversary Celebration Poster Contest. Dawson, a student in Jessica Humphry’s art class at Rolla Middle School, received a bundle of prizes including a custom printed copy of his poster submission.

Tell your children about poster contest
As part of S&T’s 150th anniversary, we are inviting young artists (grades 3-12) to create an original poster. The theme and medium is up to the artist. All poster entries must contain the words “Missouri S&T” or “S&T” and “150th anniversary.”
