Due to the reduced capacity of parking spaces and the increasing number of licensed university vehicles, the Parking Committee will charge each department that has licensed university vehicles in FY2013. All departments that have licensed university vehicles will be charged the annual rate for a parking permit per vehicle (including trailers).

Student Council will host an Informational Parking Forum from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in Room 254 Toomey Hall. A representative from S&T’s parking services office will give a presentation and answer questions about the current parking situation on campus. Seating and free pizza will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parking lots will start closing over the next few weeks for the geothermal project. Parking area M or L permit holders that haven’t notified parking lot operations of their alternate parking choice (Areas H, S, P or C) are asked to do so now.

Parking lot operations reminds the campus that parking rules and regulations are enforced year-round, whether school is in session or not. Please park in your normal parking area or utilize meter parking. The online student parking permit renewal and permit wait list will be available beginning Sunday, May 1.
