Faculty workshop focuses on student engagement for distance learners
Engaging students who are not physically present can pose a challenge when teaching in an online setting or a distance classroom. Faculty and staff instructors are invited to a workshop, “Student Engagement at a Distance,” 12:15-1:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, in St. Pat’s C of the Havener Center. Lunch will be provided. In rankings published July 18, College Choice names Missouri S&T to its “35 Best Online Master’s in Information Technology Degrees list. Missouri S&T ranks No. 7 on the list, which also includes Johns Hopkins University (No. 8), George Washington University (No. 16) and Colorado State University (No. 30).
