‘Paleo Joe’ to talk about dinosaurs
Award-winning paleontologist Joseph J. Kchodl, better known as “Paleo Joe,” will discuss “Digging for Dinosaurs in Utah” at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, on the Missouri S&T campus. The talk will be held in Planje Auditorium (Room 204) of McNutt Hall.

Curtis Laws Wilson Library will host its annual book sale 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, and Wednesday, Oct. 24, in the library’s lobby. Stock up on old textbooks, maps, hardcover and paperback books. Cash only will be accepted. Prices will range from 50 cents to $2.

Support the Miner Challenge Alternative Break Program by buying cookie dough. Orders will be taken 11 a.m.-2 p.m. each day through Wednesday, Oct. 24, in the Havener Center Atrium. The two-pound containers cost $10 each for chocolate chip and peanut butter flavors and $8 each for sugar cookie dough.
