Professors co-author paper in ‘Communications Physics’

Dr. Lia Katsimiga, assistant teaching professor of physics, and Dr. Simeon Mistakidis, assistant professor of physics, published a paper in Communications Physics, a Nature publication. The paper is titled “Observation of dense collisional soliton complexes in a two-component Bose-Einstein condensate.”

Gao and Yang featured in ‘Nature: Scientific Reports’

Dr. Jie Gao and Dr. Xiaodong Yang, both assistant professors of mechanical and aerospace engineering, had research featured in Nature: Scientific Reports this past September. The article is titled “Ultrasensitive detection and characterization of molecules with infrared plasmonic metamaterials.” Fei Cheng, a visiting scholar, also co-authored the article.
