S&T earns national recognition for fundraising, marketing, alumni relations
Missouri S&T recently earned a national award for excellence in fundraising from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) as well as nine district awards for excellence in marketing, communications, and alumni and donor relations during the virtual CASE All Districts Conference held in mid-February.

S&T plans to offer in-person commencement
Missouri S&T plans to offer in-person commencement ceremonies for spring 2021 graduates. The ceremonies are scheduled for May 14-15 to honor Missouri S&T graduates while following COVID-19 safety guidelines. The university will also hold a virtual the ceremony for those who are unable to attend.

Distinguished colleagues and dear friends,
Last week, we recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases at S&T since classes began in August. Cases are on the rise in Rolla, in our state and across the nation. Given this situation as we enter this final week before Thanksgiving break, it is essential that all of us take even greater precautions against the spread of COVID-19. We plan to return after Thanksgiving break to successfully complete this challenging semester, but it will take every one of us working together for the common cause to make that happen.
