The Miner League Theatre Players and arts, languages and philosophy will present “Forbidden Broadway” in Leach Theatre. The production features hilarious takes on beloved Broadway musicals. The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) has bestowed awards of excellence to Jeanne Stanley, associate professor of theatre, for directing; Arden Hawley, a junior in information science and technology, for stage management; and the cast of “Good Kids” for excellence in ensemble acting. Missouri S&T’s Miner League Theatre Players performed “Good Kids” in late October and early November.Read More »
Missouri S&T students with a valid student I.D. can receive free tickets for the Miner League Theatre Players performance of “Good Kids.” Free student tickets must be reserved in advance at the box office by calling 341-4219. Students will be asked to show their I.D. when they pick up the tickets.
“Good Kids,” a play about sexual assault, will be performed in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, through Saturday, Oct. 31, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1.
Students in several courses will receive extra credit for attending the play. Faculty members are asked to remind their students of this policy and that free tickets are still available.Read More »
