Orientation for transfer students planned Aug. 16

Transfer Transitions, an orientation day for new transfer students, will start at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, in Room 120 Butler-Carlton Hall. Participants will learn about campus resources to help with their studies and path to future employment. Students will eat lunch with a faculty member, participate in a resource-finding and team-building competition, and learn about campus life from current students. Dinner and awards will conclude the event.

Generation Z book study starts May 31

Join the new student programs staff in a book study of Generation Z Goes to College by Dr. Corey Seemiller and Meghan Grace. Buy or borrow a copy of the book and read the first two chapters by Thursday, May 31. Come to conference room 203 in the Curtis Laws Wilson Library 2:30-4 p.m. Thursday, May 31, to share your thoughts and hear others’ thoughts.
