Read More »The Fall 2017 Student Art in the Library Exhibit, located on the second floor of Curtis Laws Wilson Library, began Oct. 30 and will end Friday, Dec. 8. The exhibit features 53 works of art by 28 student artists in a broad range of mediums, including glass, acrylic and oil paints, mixed media, and digital art. The exhibit is jointly sponsored by the library and the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business.

Read More »The archives at Missouri S&T has grown since it was first established in 1978 to house the university’s historical records. In 2017, the archives will make history itself when an archives librarian, a full-time position, is added to the staff. The archives librarian will report to the library director. The archives has been staffed by a part-time employee and a faculty member serving as archivist in addition to his or her faculty responsibilities.
Read More »Evidence of bed bugs was found in a book in the Curtis Laws Wilson Library. As a precaution, a team from PrestoX Pest Control will be on campus with specially trained dogs to thoroughly inspect the facility. The inspection began Monday, Sept. 28, and is expected to be completed by the end of the week. The inspection process won’t impact regular library operations.
