Dr. Wayne Bledsoe, professor emeritus of history and political science, passed away Sunday, June 2, at age 83. He joined Missouri S&T as an assistant professor in 1968 and was named professor in 1982. He also served as chair of history and political science for four years. Havener Center and Innovation Lab announce operating hours May 12-June 2

Havener Center and the Innovation Lab will shift to limited hours Sunday, May 12, through Sunday, June 2. The buildings will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed Saturday and Sunday.

Virginia Tech leader named dean of Arts, Sciences, and Education

Dr. Mehrzad Boroujerdi has been named vice provost and dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) at Missouri S&T. Currently director of the School of Public and International Affairs at Virginia Tech, Boroujerdi will take over the position from Dr. Kate Drowne, who served as interim dean since 2019. His appointment will begin July 1.

Highway patrol training planned June 2 at S&T
