Eid al-Adha celebration highlights unity and sacrifice at S&T
The Bangladeshi Student Association (BSA) celebrated Eid al-Adha on Sunday, June 16, at the Islamic Center of Rolla, Missouri. Eid al-Adha, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” is an Islamic holiday commemorating the willingness of the prophet Ibrahim (Abraham in Judeo-Christian traditions) to sacrifice his son, Ismail (Ishmael).
