Wunsch named interim ISC director
Dr. Ming Leu, the Keith and Pat Bailey Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering, who served as director of the Intelligent Systems Center (ISC) since 2003, stepped down as director on July 1. At Leu’s request, the ISC faculty nominated and then voted for a new interim director. Based on their recommendation, Dr. Donald C. Wunsch II has been named interim director of the Intelligent Systems Center.

The Intelligent Systems Center will hold an organizational meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, in Room 329 Engineering Research Lab for faculty interested in researching sociotechnical systems with the goal of seeking external funding.

The Intelligent Systems Center invites the campus to view graduate students’ posters illustrating their research from 3:30-6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, in St. Pat’s B of the Havener Center. Prizes will be awarded to the top three posters. Refreshments will be served.
