GitLab access now requires personal access tokens
Starting Friday, May 26, campus users trying to access GitLab (git.mst.edu or git-classes.mst.edu), the computer programming source code and version control repository available to campus, will no longer be able to authenticate using their username and password combination from the command line, developer software or calls within applications.

There will be a brief network outage beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, Monday, Jan. 30, and ending at 6 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 31. The outage should only last an hour, but the entire window is reserved.

S&T information technology will set up encryption access of minerfiles.mst.edu network shared drives on all Windows servers Thursday, Dec. 22. All devices, such as Linux desktops and Windows PCs, that are used to connect to minerfiles.mst.edu network shared drives will be required to use encrypted connections.
